About us

You'll be learning from the best.

Our instructors are passionate aerialists with years of training and performance experience. They're here to support you, challenge you, and help you fall in love with aerial arts.

Our Story

In 2013, Aerials Amsterdam began as a weekly workshop — a small group of people gathering to climb, swing, and learn the basics of aerial silks. It was founded by Ilan Oxman, a Chilean circus artist, performer, and anthropologist who had fallen in love with aerial arts and wanted to share it with others.

What started in a gym hall near Lelylaan Station slowly grew into something more. Word spread. More people showed up. The weekly workshop became regular classes, and a small but dedicated community began to form.

Over the years, we've moved spaces, expanded our team, and welcomed thousands of students through our doors — from complete beginners taking their first climb to experienced aerialists training for competitions and performances. In 2014, Some of those enthusiasts even became teachers, helping spread the fever even further.

Today, we offer classes in aerial silks, aerial hoop, and flexibility at our studio in Amsterdam West. We're proud to be home to a diverse, international community of students and teachers — people of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels who come together to challenge themselves, support each other, and have fun in the air.

Our core values haven't changed since day one: no pressure, no competition, just a warm community of people who love to move, play, and fly.

We can't wait to welcome you and fly together!
