Flying High with Irina: A Workshop to Remember

A few weeks ago, our studio buzzed with a little extra magic. We hosted another workshop with Irina — a familiar, much-loved face we always look forward to hosting — and it was every bit as inspiring as we'd hoped.
A familiar face, always welcome
Irina is no stranger to Aerials Amsterdam. She comes to teach with us often, and every time she does, our community lights up. There's a special kind of energy when a guest instructor you know and trust steps onto the mats — the trust is already there, so everyone dives straight into the good stuff.
This time: straps and rope combination
The focus of this workshop was straps and rope combination — a beautiful, demanding pairing that challenges both strength and creativity. From the first warm-up to the final cool-down, the energy in the room was electric.
Whether it was a challenging new transition, a cleaner line, or simply the confidence to try something that felt impossible an hour earlier, everyone walked away with something new.
What made it special
It wasn't just about the moves. It was about the community that showed up — supporting each other, cheering on every attempt, and reminding us exactly why we love aerial arts. Beginners and experienced flyers shared the same space, learned from each other, and left a little braver than they arrived.
The moments we captured
We snapped plenty of photos and video throughout the day — take a look below and relive the magic with us.
Thank you, Irina!
A huge thank you to Irina for sharing her talent and warmth with our community once again, and to everyone who joined and made the day unforgettable. We can't wait to have you back. This is what Aerials Amsterdam is all about: circus fitness, creative movement, and community fun.
